Long Term Care

Long term care insurance covers expenses for caregiving assistance that is needed, at any age, due to serious accidents, injuries or chronic illness. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services estimates that nearly 7 in 10 people who reach age 65 will need some form of assistance with daily living. For some, the choice will come down to sacrificing retirement savings to pay for care, or settling for what Medicaid will cover. MOCPA has partnered with Mutual of Omaha to offer long term care coverage options, including a 5 percent discount, for members looking to mitigate that risk.
