Women to Watch - Emerging Leader

Taylor Holtmeyer

Audit Manager | Deloitte & Touche, LLP

Since 2006, MOCPA and AICPA have partnered to honor outstanding women in the profession through the Women to Watch awards. This program highlights the accomplishments of women in the profession, and demonstrates to emerging female leaders that success is not out of reach.

In just five years at her firm, Taylor Holtmeyer is already making her mark and has been described by many as a role model. She is self-motivated but never lets her personal goals impede her from mentoring her colleagues.

Taylor leads one of the office’s largest audit engagements. She dramatically changed the culture on this job, creating an environment people wanted to be part of. She has been key in driving efficiencies, developing a plan and shared vision, and rallying the team to complete the engagement in a timely manner without sacrificing work/life balance.

Taylor was selected out of 900+ applicants to the Deloitte National Teaching Faculty to help develop a common approach to auditing healthcare provider revenue and accounts receivable. In addition, she has leveraged audit analytics to develop procedures to test 100 percent of populations. Taylor works with the firm’s foreign teams and has traveled to India to conduct training.

Taylor actively gives back, which includes chairing MOCPA’s Young Professionals Committee, and inspiring elementary school girls through the Girls on the Run program.
