Joe Wicklund, Governmental Accting. Standards BoardJoe Wicklund
Joe Wicklund is a project manager with the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) in Norwalk, Connecticut. His current project assignments include Infrastructure Assets and Subsequent Events research.
Before joining the GASB staff, Joe worked in higher education administration and finance in financial reporting roles for over 12 years at both public (GASB) and private (FASB) institutions. He was most recently the Associate Controller of New Jersey’s Rowan University, responsible for the coordination and preparation of the audited financial statements of the institution, its foundation, and other affiliated component unit entities. His previous experience also includes time at PricewaterhouseCoopers performing financial and compliance audits, primarily of higher education and not-for-profit entities.
Joe received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Temple University, and holds a Masters in Business Administration from Widener University. He is also licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Pennsylvania.

Tammy Lehmen holds a Bachelor’s degree from Lincoln University and worked as a Bank Examiner for the State of Missouri prior to joining DESE as a School Finance Consultant in 2000. Her focus is on the Basic Formula, Classroom Trust, Small Schools, and Prop C payments and ensuring the data used in those calculations are reasonable and correct.

Alan W. Anderson, CPA has over 25 years of experience in the accounting profession. After working primarily as a partner and National Director of Audit in the firm of McGladrey and Pullen, LLP and with the American Institute of CPAs as Senior Vice President of Member and Public Interest, Al founded ACCOUNT-ability Plus headquartered in Minneapolis. Prior to starting his new company, Al lead the firm of LarsonAllen, LLP in coordinating accounting and assurance services across industry groups as the Managing Principal of Accounting & Assurance Services. As President of ACCOUNT-ability Plus, Al is building a company to address the educational needs of auditors and to help push the vision of those he teaches to exceed client expectations by providing relevant services and meaningful information using real-time methodology. Al’s experience in the world of auditing reaches far and wide. This includes helping to standardize the global audit approach of McGladrey and Pullen, overseeing the AICPA’s technical audit and accounting standards, including self-regulation and the CPA examination and implementing paperless solutions. Al served as Chair of the AICPA Assurance Services Executive Committee for 6 years and continues to lead task forces of the Committee. Al graduated from Southwest State University in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.

Sabre LinahanSabre Linahan
Sabre joined Smith + Howard in 2002 and is a partner in our Tax practice. She is also a member of our Nonprofit and Construction groups, specializing in tax services for these organizations, while also serving many of the firm's middle-market and privately held clients.
Regarded as an influential leader in the industry, Sabre has been a speaker at the GSCPA Nonprofit Conference and at the Institute of Continuing Legal Education's Nonprofit Law Seminar.
She previously served as treasurer of Oasis of Life and serves as the immediate past chair-elect and governance committee chair for the Center for Family Resources.
Kaitlin Becker
Kaitlin joined Smith + Howard back in 2015 as an intern and is now a Senior Manager in our Assurance Practice. She is a member of the firm's nonprofit, real estate, construction, and manufacturing and distribution groups, focusing on financial statement audits and employee benefit plans.
She prides herself on the commitment and focus to the firm and our clients. She is also a member of the Young Leaders Program for the Associated General Contractors of Georgia and the Women in Pensions Network.
