Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
MOCPA believes that a diverse CPA profession is a better CPA profession. The U.S. Census Bureau reports that one in three residents is a minority. By 2044, minorities will become the majority of the U.S. population. MOCPA is taking efforts to ensure representation in its membership and in the profession as it expands to better reflect and serve the world as it is now.
Not only will advances in diversity increase the talent pool of future CPAs, but it will enable the profession to better serve clients and employers, strengthening the CPA's role as an objective expert.
