Amanda Simmonds is the Director of Talent Advisor Services at Spiirall, which offers learning and development solutions to accounting and advisory firms. She helps clients and firms achieve their personal and professional development goals. With over 20 years of experience as a people and operations leader in public accounting firms of various sizes, Amanda specializes in people development, team leadership, program implementation, and the execution of growth initiatives. She excels in working with diverse stakeholders to align and achieve strategic objectives.
Throughout her career, Amanda has driven efficiency and effectiveness within firms by leading process improvements, optimizing technology, and implementing automation. She is passionate about elevating individuals leadership skills through focus, clarity, and accountability, ensuring that both firms and their leaders maximize their potential.
Amanda is deeply committed to the accounting industry, actively participating in and leading various professional communities. She played a pivotal role in founding the Missouri chapter of the CPA Firm Management Association and has contributed significantly to the Missouri Society of CPAs through speaking engagements and program development. Her leadership extends to the Moore Global Network, where she has recently served on the Social Ambition Advisory Board and as a Lead Social Ambition Ambassador and Regional Ambassador.
Known for her ability to make a positive impact, Amanda is skilled at leading teams and developing talent. Her positive energy and genuine care for others are evident in every interaction.
Outside of work, Amanda enjoys gardening, learning new skills like playing the banjo, and hiking with her husband Jon and their two teenagers, Abi and Clay, in the beautiful Ozark Mountains of Missouri.
